Breast MRI Intensive Training Course
Welcome to Breast-MRI Intensive Training which has been established to provide the best state-of-the-art intensive training for radiologists who are utilising Breast MRI.
The course that has been developed is unique in the Asia-Pacific region as we limit the number of attendees so that each individual has their own imaging workstation throughout the entire course.
In this, the third in the series of Breast MRI courses, there are over 100 new cases and we have restructured the case base into blocks of activity which reflect daily MR reporting in Australia. The first block involves staging known cancer and includes the diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds to underpin the process. The second and third blocks are devoted to MR screening and DCIS.
Lectures, predominantly delivered by our visiting expert, Professor Elizabeth Morris, are interspersed throughout the weekend, tailored to the course structure.
The Intensive Breast MRI courses have been enhanced over the past five years to build an agenda which addresses the dilemmas of established MR practice whether the individual radiologist is starting out or seeking a refresh. Learning by immersion is a tried and proven methodology.
Each delegate will have their own image review workstation for the course enabling them to review the images at their own pace. To ensure that this is a highly interactive, intense and innovate course all of the international and Australian faculty, as well as technical support representatives, are on-site to provide one-on-one assistance as needed. The course is limited to a maximum of 35 delegates so that we can ensure individual support and answer questions as they arise. This ensures that everyone leaves the course with the confidence and experience that they can put to use immediately in their daily practice. The facility will be open from 7:30am on Saturday and Sunday, and will stay open until 6:30pm on Saturday.
At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:
- Learn imaging protocols and techniques to produce high quality breast MR images in keeping with current recommended standards
- Accurately and efficiently interpret and report on breast MRI exams in accordance with the ACR BI-RADS® MRI module
- Use breast MRI guided biopsy tools effectively and safely
- Gain an understanding of the use of CAD in reporting Breast MRI
I invite you to register for either of the above courses for an intensive breast MRI experience.
